As chief human resources officer, Bob brings a wealth of knowledge stemming from a 20-year career in technology. Bob is focused on fostering innovation within Cloudera’s global team and creating a culture that attracts and retains key talent. Before joining Cloudera, Bob was most recently EVP of human resources at Docker. Prior to that, he was the VP of human resources at Hortonworks, where he helped grow the company from 30 employees to over 1,400. He supported Hortonworks through its IPO in 2014 as well as its merger with Cloudera in 2019. He also held roles in education and professional services at VMware, SpringSource, JBoss, and Red Hat. Bob also serves as a board member for Sparrows Nest, a nonprofit organization in Athens, GA.
