Jeff Hausfeld

Since retiring from active medical practice I have been involved in the syndication of real estate and other commercial ventures and I am constantly on the look-out for new and innovative entrepreneurial opportunities. I am presently developing assisted living facilities specializing in Alzheimer’s and memory care and mixed use retail/medical centers. I serve as a consultant to several healthcare/life science startups in diagnostics, devices and Health IT.

I am the Managing Director of FMS Financial Solutions, a national debt collection and debt acquisition firm specializing in medical and multi-family housing debt collection. By applying sound business practices to this viewpoint, along with an awesome IT team, I have been able to create innovative, value-oriented programs that medical and dental professionals can take advantage of. The notion of actively managing account receivables is no longer a taboo or ignored topic in medicine. To learn more about the products and services offered by this company for both the medical and business sectors, please visit www.FMSfinancialsolutions.com.

The exciting thing about life after the practice of medicine is that now I am able to draw upon the diversified fields of medicine, business, and organizational psychology, and implement novel solutions that have an immediate impact on the client’s bottom line. I am the Chairman and Founder of the Society of Physician Entrepreneurs (www.sopenet.org ), a global network focused on educating healthcare and life science professionals in Bioentrepreneurship and Innovation. My involvement with SoPE has broadened my interests and network with future thinking, creative individuals, dedicated to improving healthcare delivery.
